thanks to everyone who contributed to the story. special thanks to all my sponsors and those of you that sent donations. they're sincerely appreciated. those of you who sponsored me for $20 or more will be receiving a music mix. please make sure you send me your shipping address. it'll be in the mail by the end of the week.

to those of you who had questions that i didn't answer during the story:

1. why are you pretending to be a guy (pretending to be a girl)? it's obvious you're female. (11 people asked this).

erm. sorry, i'm a guy. the Shag is usually done as non-fiction from my own pov. for the blogathon i thought i'd flip it on its head and do fiction as a woman. feel free to subscribe to Victory Shag to read the real me. it's free.

2. is this gonna stay online for a while?

the text probably will. the other things will come down. i need the space.

3. How much of this was written prior to the blogathon?

the only thing that was written prior to the 'thon was the first two paragraphs from the first entry. and, to be truthful, the first line is a bastardization of a line from a story called The Switch in Stephen Dixon's I.

4. how many words did you write?

no clue. i'll probably throw it through the word processor tomorrow and correct the typos and do a word count.

Actually, it'll probably be on Monday that I do that. tomorrow night (tonight actually--sunday), i'm going to Wavelength at Sneaky Dees to see The Stratford 4. [mp3] if you're in Toronto, get yourself to the southeast corner of Bathurst and college and check out the band. if you see me there (i'll be wearing red shoes and taking a lot of pictures), buy me a drink. no doubt i'll need one.

that's it. i'm gonna eat something and then go seepies.

edit (5:48 pm sunday). i did a word count. 17,127.
