hey, thanks for checking in. it's now 10:00 and i just passed the 12 hour mark. i took the last thirty minutes off to walk the dog, run to the store, and order some food.

in addition, i've been reading over the entries. eek. sorry for the spelling mistakes. my html program doesn't have spellchecker. i'll correct them before i do the mailout to subscribers.

to those those who have been sending in donations, sponsorships, and suggestions for the story, thank you! keep 'em coming. i appreciate them. please, if you have any lines you want me to work into the story or any questions you want answered (about VS in general or this story in particular), please send them in and i'll do my best to work them into the writing.

if you dig what i'm doing, please Vote for me.

here are some quick answers to questions i'm getting from people new to VS:

1. what is this?

for the blogathon, i decided to go with a long, fictionalized piece of writing. you can 'partcipate' in the creation by sending me suggestions for where you want it to go.

2. what is it normally.

the VS faq is here. however, in a nutshell, Victory Shag is a series of real letters that i send out to real people... i just happen to share them with whoever subscribes as well. the letters are non-fiction and can be considered a sort of journal with each entry being about love, sex, sexuality, relationships, etc.

3. what's with the mp3s?

often the regular VS letters contain links to music.

4. officially, i don't think this is a blog.

thanks. i know that. however, officially, i don't really care. the point was to raise some money for charity and have some fun by challenging myself to do something i'd never done before: fiction; write for 24 hours straight; force myself to keep writing even when i think i'm out of ideas.

Thanks!
